Which of these Pokemon games should I get?

Should I get Heartgold, Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs, Diamond, or Platinum? I already have Pokemon White. I know that Diamond and Platinum are practically the same, but I don't know which ones better? Which one of the ranger games is best and why? And which one should I get overall?|||This one is the best pokemon games.. I like it very very much..

Pokemon - Diamond Version

Product Features

- Worldwide battles and trading using WiFi.

- Real-time clock feature changes the time of day based on the DS clock. The Pokemon you can catch vary based on the region and the time of day. Also, certain Pokemon moves' power changes based on time.

- More elaborate Pokemon Contests. Players can use the accessories and dress up their Pokemon. Players make "Poffin" out of Berries to raise their Pokemon's contest stats.

- New dual-type Pokemon, new/altered moves, and new special abilities add to the - already deep strategy of Pokemon battling.

- 3-D enviornments and updated graphics.|||heartgold because you may be able to send pokemon to the white using the poketransfer lab. thats what i did and now i have alot of rare pokemon (some from the game and some from tradeing thestarters i got from breeding :) also, the story in the game is better.|||Either HeartGold or Platinum. Diamond is the same as Platinum, but has less features, and the Pok茅mon Ranger games aren't that good when compared to the main series.

Can some body list all the pokemon games from newest one to oldest one?

Or if you don't know them all can you just put the name of the newest game 2011? Or the ones you know...

and which game is better of all pokemon's games?

:D thanks!|||Red/Blue(/Green, Japanese only) (new)

Ruby/Saphhire (new)

LeafGreen/FireRed (remake)

Emerald (3rd)

Diamond/Pearl (new)

Platinum (3rd)

HeartGold/SoulSilver (remake)

Black/White (new)

These are the main pokemon games. The next game will probably a remake of Hoenn or a third game of the Unova region (like Yellow, Crystal, Emerald and Platinum) for the 3DS

I think Silver (not SoulSilver) is the best, but this is problably merely because of all the memories. It was my first game, you know? :D

The remakes are kinda lame, though nice because they bring old pokemon to a new platform. The 3rd games are merely expansions from the 2 other games, but you can't miss them if you want to be a true pokemon expert like me :D|||Pok茅mon Red

Red/Blue, Yellow, Gold/Silver, Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire, FireRed/LeafGreen, Emerald, Diamond/Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold/SoulSilver, Black/White

I'm sure you meant these series and not the N64, card, etc. No as for the best, it would just depend on your opinion for YOUR favorite pokemon region (Considering they're the only thing that change in the games other than the region, too). Now for MY favorite pokemon game, I would go for the old regions. So I would choose from Red/Blue to Emerald (Including HeartGold/SoulSilver [My favorites])

Hope you choose your favorite one.

Can you move pokemon from other pokemon games to black and white versions?

Just wondering cuz I think it could be a huge advantage to have the pokemon from older games ok he de|||you can move them using the pokeshifter (it's in the game) but you can not trade items or trade back. Kind of like pal park except no items.|||Yes, you can transfer the 4th gen games to Pokemon Black and White, but you can't move any from 1st Gen-3rd Gen. For 3rd Gen you have to transfer them to 4th Gen first, then 4th Gen to Black/White (also known as 5th Gen).|||You cannot move pokemon from the older games, until you obtain the miracle shooter, once you have beaten the elite four and have the national dex.|||Yeah but you have to get Nat'l dex. Pokeshift.

Between Generation 1 and 2 of Pokemon games, which one is your favorite?

Between R%26amp;B and G%26amp;S, which one is your favorite? Personally, mine is G%26amp;S because to me it was the last great pokemon games and you can visit both regions.|||The old games had terrible graphics and had many many glitches and flaws...But...I think Crystal is best :)|||I thought Heart Gold was the perfect pokemon game, as said you could go to both regions and it had pokemon from both groups. But I loved all the little features like having any pokemon walking with you. That version had so much to offer, its a shame black and white removed some of the nice little touches it brought with it. Also the new pokemon all just seem....lacking.|||G%26amp;S ftw, it had both regions, more pokemon, but not yet to many, now the amount is far far to much.|||mines is gold and silver

What do i need to do in order to trade between all my GBA pokemon games?

I have tried multiple times to trade between my fire red and leaf green and emerald pokemon games and every time on my one game it says we aren't not set up to trade with faraway regions.|||You need to be able to travel to Sevii Islands in order to trade between Pokémon games.

Good luck!|||In FireRed/Leafgreen you have to be able to access the Sevii islands and activate the giant machine on one of the islands to trade between all games. Also, you must defeat the elite four and the champion in all the games as well.

What Pokemon game I should be a boy and a girl in of these Pokemon Games?

Diamond version , Pearl version , Heartgold version , or soulsilver version? When you look at the Pokemon from which game what do you think is a boy and a girl from?|||Well i think you should choose your own gender

I mainly do this on most on my game, the only game i played as the girl was D/P/Pt

I hated how Lucas looked like so i played as Dawn

Mip|||I'm not exactly sure what the question is, but if you are asking if you should be a boy or a girl in your games, I'm going to tell you right now that you should be a girl.

What? But I'm not a girl! Why the heck should I be a girl =,((((???

Well, thanks for asking metaphorical voice! You should be a girl because girl trainers can train boy pokemon better. And a majority of starters have an 87.5% chance of being a boy as opposed to a girl. Thus, being a girl will make your starter pokemon stronger.|||my games go like this

If you have a GBA slot, you can get Emerald, Ruby/Sapphire, FireRed/LeafGreen, and Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire. That's about it, all the others are on the GBC and OGB.

Can you transfer pokemon from old GBC to GBA games?

Can you transfer Pokemon from Pokemon games like Yellow, Red, Silver to Pokemon Games like, Ruby , Leaf green and then to Black and White ? Please if so let me know how.

Thanks|||No.

You see when the GBA came out a whole new engine was used. On top of that the hardware was different. So when the 3rd generation came out the games operating software and the formulas for a pokemons stats and stat development were completely revamped. Making the older Gameboy and newer Gameboy advance games totally incompatable. For instance IV's. IV's are a value used to determine stats for individual pokemon and vary between pokemon even of the same species. The system in place which has been in place since 3rd gen is not the same as what was used in 1st and 2nd gen.

The reason why GBA games can work with DS games is because the engine is the same or very similar. They had that in mind. They used the same algorithims when determining pokemon values which is the main issue as well. And odds are if there is a 6th generation it will be compatable with older games as well. But that also has alot to do with for when 3rd gen came out people threw an absolute shitstorm including myself over the lack of connectivity.|||In the Ruby and Sapphire game guide, it had a tutorial on how to transfer up through to ruby/sapphire, but it requires crystal. It worked for me. (I'm assuming alot of people never got the gameguide or this only works for certain games because it worked fine on mine but everyone always says theres no way to transfer; but whatever. It could just be that its alot of trouble to get everything together.)

Basically you need to get the orb from sapphire and the orb from ruby, bring the one from sapphire to ruby and give them both to Bill on one island (the orbs are found in the number islands). You have to trnsfer your pokemon up from red/yellow/gold/ whatever, to crystal and then use the time machine in one of the pokemon centers (dont remember which center) and connect it with ruby's one island transfer machine. For this, you need a GB Advance or SP (or a combination of the two, this doesnt work with GB colors or nintendo DSs) you also need a connection cord or the wireless transmitters from firered/leafgreen. Then its just timing the transfer machines to connect together at the same time and you've got them to ruby.

For the transfer of cartridge games (ruby, sapphire, leafgreen etc) to DS games, you need pearl, platinum or diamond and transfer them up to there. To get them onto Black and White you need two DS systems and once you beat the Pokemon League you will come across a lab with a minigame and scientists that will explain how to transfer from platinum/diamond/pearl to black and white|||Edit: Also in 2nd and 1st Gen, you can EV Train as much as you want, so you can have Pokemon with 999 stats if you wished. In 3rd Gen they changed the system so that Pokemon had unique max and minimum stats, and EV Training was limited.

No. You can't. That's one of the reasons people got mad, they couldn't transfer their precious Pokemon to the 3rd Gen games. It's not possible because it's not possible. The games aren't compatible with each other. The developers couldn't make them compatible so that's that. You can however transfer Pokemon from 3rd Gen to 4th gen, then to Black/White.|||No, because the GBA is a different system to the GBC.|||No sorry. Its not possible, or compatible :(|||No, since it's a whole new different system.

Whats is the minimum amount of Pokemon games needed to get all 493 Pokemon?

What games do I need to get all the Pokemon? Thanks.|||if you got Heartgold and soulsilver for kanto and johto and then got emerald for hoenn finally got platinum for sinnoh you should be able to complete the whole pokedex using the pal park and the union room and just to finish off you will need pokemon ranger for manaphy.

But you need to remember wifi as some legendaries can only be got through wifi.

i've got all of them and well it is very annoying trying to get all the pokemon.|||Depends on what Pokemon games you're playing, but you would probably need about 4 games (ex. HeartGold, Ruby, Diamond, and Pearl). You would need D/P because Diamond has Skuntank and Pearl has Purugly, and they are not available in any other Pokemon games. You would need Ruby to get the Regis, Latios, and Groudon. And last, you would need HeartGold version to get the rest. However, there are some Pokemon that cannot be caught in-game, and you must obtain it in a trade, at an event, downloading it from a spin-off game (Pokemon Ranch, Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Ranger 2, etc.) or downloading a special item over Wi-Fi that allows you to catch the Pokemon in-game. These Pokemon are: Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Arceus, Manaphy, Darkrai, and Shaymin (you can include Phione in the list since it can only be obtained by beeding a Ditto with a Manaphy). So unless you have a cheating device, know some people who have all these Pokemon, have the spin-off games that have these Pokemon, or wait until there is another Nintendo event, there is no way to actually complete the National Pokedex with 493 Pokemon. Also, you will have to restart your games a few times to get the starters, since you can only pick one when you are asked to pick from three starter Pokemon.|||2 maybe 3. It can actually be 1 if a friend own all the pokemon games and the means of transferring them over between the games but that is a long process.|||Uhh...all I can say is good luck. It's virtually impossible unless you have a vast library of Pokemon-owning friends.|||2|||493

What are the five best types in the pokemon games?

What are the five best types/elements in the pokemon games? Let's focus on the fourth generation.

I know Dragons and Steel are pretty powerful. What else? Top five please.|||There is no best. There are seventeen types, but each type has its own share of strong and weak Pokemon, along with strong and weak moves. To give you the "top five" is impossible, because it also depends on personal opinion and experiences.

On an offensive scale, I personally think that Ground, Fighting, Ice, Dragon, and Rock are the best. Note that these are the not the types for the Pokemon, but the moves. Ground moves are super-effective against five types -- the most, tied with Fighting. It is resisted by only two types, but one is immune. Fighting-types are also super-effective against five types. Ice is the best bet against the powerful Dragon-types, which are seen virtually everywhere in competitive battling. The Dragon-type itself is only resisted by one type and is a good neutral attacking type. The Rock-type is horrible as a type on Pokemon, but great on attacks -- it's super-effective against four types.

Defensively, Steel, Rock, and Ground-types are pretty good stat-wise, but in terms of weaknesses, the Ground-type is risky since it's weak to Ice, Grass, and Water, which are very common attacking types. The same goes with Rock-types. They have a high Defense number but are weak to Steel, Water, Grass, Fighting, and Ground.

All in all, my personal top five would be Dragon, Dark, Fighting, Electric, and Ice. Don't take my word for it, though -- you'll have to decide for yourself.

Hope that helped. :D|||Here's what my element lineup looked like with all 6 Pokemon:

Psychic

Ground

Dragon

Fire

Water/Ice

Grass

Alakazam

Dugtrio or Golem

Dragonite

Charazard

Blastoise

Venusaur

What are the newest pokemon games for GBA?

what are the newest pokemon games for Gameboy advance? I know ruby and sapphire came out at the same time. are leaf green, fire red, emerald and the other ones newer or older than ruby and sapphire?

any help is appreciated.|||Red/Green/Yellow are the 1st Gen games for GameBoy

Gold/Silver/Crystal are the 2nd Gen games for the Gameboy/color

Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald are the 3rd Gen games for GBC/Advanced

Diamond/Pearl/Platinum are DS only games and are 4th Gen games

HeartGold/SoulSilver are the Gold and Silver remakes for the DS only and use the 4th Gen Engine.|||No you pretty much said them all for the GBA...

After Emerald they only made pokemon DS games.

But there is Pokemon Rescue Team Red, a completely different kind of game but still pokemon.

But also the GBA can play gameboy colour games and the pokemon colour games are Blue, Red, Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal.|||fire red %26amp; leaf green are newer than sapphire and ruby, but i think emerald is the newest gba game out, except for the mystery dungeon games. but platinum is the newest for any system|||The newest GBA Pokemon game is Pokemon Emerlad.Pokemon Emerald was the last GBA Pokemon game, excluding things like mystery dungeon and stuff like that.

What DS flashcart works best with Pokemon games?

my R4i doesn't even load save games. So what works best with Pokemon games and for other games for that matter?|||DSTT / DSTTi - I've run and saved the games on it before as a test, so it worked fine.

Hope this helps.|||EDGE or Cyclo DS.

Cyclo DS claim that they can connect to the Wii Pokemon games.

EDGE is a good flashcart for a good price with great support and frequent updates.

Is anyone else displeased with the newer Pokemon games?

Gold/Silver/Crystal in my opinion were the best.

The subsequent games like Diamond/Pearl and Black/White are crap. I say this because of the bloody stupid crap like beauty pageants and the fact that all the damn Pokemon look like neopets.|||The nostalgia filter is strong with this one..

Where do I begin? The Sinnoh and Unova series has added way more to the games than G/S/C did and improved upon every aspect introduced in the 2nd generation. You know you don't have to partake in contest, musicals and the like, right? So don't ***** about them. And as for the pokemon designs 4th gen was much better than third, probably my favorites. The only reason people whine about 5th gen is because they are not used to them yet.

In any repect no one should take anything you have to say about pokemon seriously. Because you got out years ago and your opinion would of left the franchise dead nearly 10 years ago.|||Really man? There's something called INGNORING a feature of a game you don't like. Dude, have you ever ACTUALLY played in those contests? They don't force you to play them all the time (probably just a tutorial) and thehy don't affect the story, plus you don't have to do them, so why are you complaining? Sure the new Pokemon look wierd, but you can still get old Pokemon in them. Besides, the new games have more features like WiFi, so goodbye to that stupid cord for the Gameboy and Gameboy Color! HeartGold and SoulSilver are remakes of Gold/Silver/Crystal, how can you say those 3 are the best when HeartGold and SoulSilver are clearly superior to Gold/Silver/Crystal? All the old Pokemon you remember, same good stuff, plus the new stuff which you can choose to ignore. You're complaining for no reason.|||As much as I love the 3rd Gen. (the one I grew up with), and as much as I'm disappointed with the 4th gen., excluding HG and SS which were awesome, I would NEVER say that the new Pokemon RPGs are bad. The pokemon designs are a bit weird, yes, but you will get used to them very quickly. I mean, even though the designs for the new games were not exactly Pokemon-ish when you first see, I accepted almost all of them as designs of Pokemon, with the exceptions of say, the Kami trio, which were nothing but palette swaps and other minor alterations. And besides, even if the designs suck, there is no denying the new features in the game, specifically the online modes, which takes Pokemon to a whole other level.|||Seriously, for those contests, you don't necessarily have to win at them. I always ignore them and you can see me playing everyday.

Come on man, Black and White added a lot more features and you are simply not focusing on them. The Global Link, Random Matchups...

And the Pok茅mon, yes, SOME look a bit like they are not really Pok茅mon. But I think most of them do.|||I like all the versions for what they are,I learn to like them, I like white because its new pokemon and new adventures and I like pokemon games like that in general. theres no point in being displeased just play and have fun. learn to like it for what it is|||Really? This is Pokemon. You're a Pokemon Trainer. Pokemon fans love the new game. Sure, it's a little weird with all the new Pokemon, but I am very used to it.

I love Pokemon. Any age you are, you can still play. Any Pokemon game that is new, I get.|||Hmm... I remember Pokemon was cool when I was in Grade 2. I remember Pokemon Red. I had that game.

Beyond that I couldn't tell you.|||Why should I be displeased? Black/White are as good as or better than Red/Blue.

I have yugioh cards, looking for GBA pokemon games and wireless adapter?

Do you think the Pokemon Games gets boring after awhile and they get old really fast?

Who finds it that way where you get bored and tired of it and it's not fun any more after you beat the whole game and did everything in the game and every Pokemon Games is the same and there's nothing new or exciting to the games and Gamefreak and Nintendo should put new ideas in the games instead of the same old formula for the past year or so.|||No I don't! You only think like that because your lazy! Pokemon is a COMPETITION game! You only think like that because you're not competitive! I heard, in Pokemon Black and White, all the trainers you will fight after you defeat the Elite 4 will have Pokemon level 60-65! Do you think you can beat that? That's an even higher level than the first time you challenge the Elite 4! Seriously, I'd like to know if you're a Pokemon fan or not, because true Pokemon fans support Pokemon in every way! And they would tell the truth like the game is not good or this game is lame. I know you're about to hit that "Thumbs down" button or "Report Abuse", but do that all you want, just think about it, I'm protesting for all the Pokemon fans out there, no one ever says like this to Pokemon if not everyone agrees with it. So, why don't you go send a letter to The Pokemon Company saying that their games are getting old really quick and boring, not here on Yahoo! Answers! :||||I will admit, I did get bored with Sapphire and Emerald. And the fourth generation I didn't even play, except Heatgold and Soulsilver because those were remakes of Johto. All of the other games a really like. They did get boring for a few years, but after two or three years, I got addicted to it all over again and I doubt I'll get bored with them again. It really depends how you play the games, too. If you always get the same Pokemon over and over again, then yes, it's very boring. You just have to change it up a bit.|||Any game that is repetitive like Pok茅mon stands the chance of getting old very quick. The Pok茅mon games all have the same concept. Just like what another poster said, the only difference is the Pok茅mon, characters, and story line.

I think a lot of games are repetitive, but their ability to be addictive is what keeps me coming back.|||yeah, pokemon games really do get boring really fast, especially when everything is completed. the bad thing is most pokemon games are almost the same, even though with different pokemons, characters and a different storyline. but personally, i think every game gets old pretty fast. last time i enjoyed sims 3, but i got bored of it after, 3 - 4 months.

Are there any games where you can have pokemon battles like in the show?

In the pokemon games, the battles are very simplistic and turn based. In the TV show however, battles aren't turn based, they use complicated strategy, and use moves in unorthodox ways in order to win, are there any games in which a player such as myself could participate in this type of battle?|||There are no games I'm aware of where you can use the moves in random ways (think about how much different combinations they would have to add), and the only game with realtime fighting (not turnbased) I know of is Pokemon rumble, which is a kind of random game, but hey, it's realtime.

Are There Trainers you Can Battle More than Once in Gen II Pokemon Games?

I recently found my old Pokemon Silver, Gold, and Crystal games from when I was a kid, and I've been playing around on those a bit. I know you can register the phone numbers of other trainers, who will periodically call you for a rematch- but I got to wondering...

Are there any trainers in the generation II games that you can challenge to battle again after you've defeated them.. -without- registering the phone number?|||Yes, you might already know about this, but ever since I played pokemon silver like 4 years ago, I remember you can face your rival again. It was only on certain days like mondays and fridays. He challenges you right before you go up the stairs

Best of Luck!!

What Pokemon games do I need in order to catch them all?

Not including special event Pokemon, what games do I need to catch all Pokemon?|||You need pokemon from all regions. So Ruby and Sapphire (because there are some pokemon exclusive to Ruby and some to Sapphire). You can't get every Hoenn pokemon from Emerald. As for the Kanto and Johto regions, HeartGold and SoulSilver (for the same reason as Hoenn), although you will need to trade or start the games again for all the starters. This applies to all of the games, although you should leave one game (Black or White) game not reseted, so that you can migrate all your pokemon over to that one game and complete your pokedex in that same game. As for SInnoh, again you will need Pearl and Diamond as Platinum by itself won't suffice. Lastly, you will need Black and White.

Sounds unfair, and it is. Sorry to give you this bad news.|||Let's see here...

You can basically catch them all if you have just Black and White. But, to do this, you need friends to come into your entralink and you need dream world. Otherwise, you'll also need the Generation IV games. However, there are some pokemon, like trapinch, that are very hard to obtain in both Generations IV and V, so, thus, you'll need to rely on Generation III games to get those pokemon. And that's basically it.|||Basically all the games on GBA ;; Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - Fire Red/Leaf Green

For DS ;; Heart Gold/Soul Silver - Diamond/Pearl/Platinum - Black/White

Where can I buy a GBA link cable that lets you trade between GBC Pokemon games?

I have two Game Boy Advances, and the old Game Boy Color Pokemon games. I need a link cable that allows me to trade between the Game Boy Color games. If you could give me a link to a product I could buy, or just give me the name and brand of the product, that would be great.|||any old GBC link cable will do. unfortunately Nintendo no longer carries anything in their online store for old accessories, so you're going to have to do some searching at ebgames, gamestop, ebay, pawn shops, and whatever might have it.|||It's impossible. And i think they stopped selling link cables after Fire red and Leaf green because of the wireless trader. If you really want to try, go to eBay.|||A cable like the one in the link below will be good. You just need to connect the ends to the system and then go into the trading room on the second floor of a pokemon center of each game (I am not sure that it is on the second floor in all games but all the ones i have have it on the second floor of Pokemon Center) I AM NOT TELLING YOU TO BUY THIS SO I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BUY IT FOR NOTHING.|||The only way to trade between 2 GBC games is with a GBC link cable and two Gameboy Color systems.

How much money could I get for used pokemon games?

How much money could I get if i sold used pokemon games such as, Heart Gold, Black/White, Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, Firered/leafgreen, emerald/ruby/saphire. I am wanting to know how much I would get if I sold it to gamestop or if it would get more on ebay?|||Gamestop is an amazing place to buy or rent games, and is the biggest international game retailer. That said, they don't buy games for much :P Not unless you're good at haggling. You'll probably want to take the Ebay or personal sales route. If it were me, I'd start the bidding at $10-15, maybe even $20 for the newer ones. If you choose to go to personal sales, you might even be able to sell it at the buying price. Just ask around to see who's interested.

As a standard tip, this is a good starting price range if you sell it online (not by Ebay or other bidding sites):

Like new - 85-90% of original price.

Very good - 75-80%

And if you choose to haggle at Gamestop, they'll no doubt start at like $10 or something. Say something along the lines of; "Ooh...nah. Can't do that. What about $25?" And go from there ;)

EDIT: After reading other answers, I forgot to mention that if you have an older Pokemon game (such as the legendary Red/Blue) then you can get a LOT for them. Somewhere in the $80-100 range possibly.|||Game stop is terrible, it takes over thirty minutes to trade in games, they only give you in store credit, and they rip you off on all your trade ins, they also fingerprint you. If i were you i would sell them independently and separately, that's where you would get the most profit|||when i was a little kid i played pokemon games all the time! And now i decided to sell my games and i sold them on ebay, people bought them for alotta money for the old blue and silver versions!. So if you sell them on ebay your going to make a lot of money :)|||You wouldn't get $20 for the lot at gamestop. I would try to sell them on craigslist or backpage. And as for price you could get maybe $20 for each DS game and $12-$15 for GBA games. Except emerald which you could ask $20 for since its a higher demand game in the series.|||Sell the gba pokemon games on ebay because gamestop wont take the gba pokemon games but I don't know if gamestop gives you this much for pokemon White/Black still but they gave me $17 a piece for pokemon White/Black and I think $10 for diamond.|||at gamestop they would only give you about $3 for the old pokemon and for the new games they would give you about $10 but on ebay you should get a little bit more then what you would get at any game store.|||7 bucks

Is it worth collecting brand new pokemon games?

I see that brand new sealed games like Yellow, Red, Crystal and others can sale for quite a high price. Would you think it's worth it to really collect new Pokemon games that have been released in recent years in hopes they could become big collectables in like 10 years or so?|||It's really up to you. They might become really big in a few years, or they could do what they did to Gold and Silver - make a new and improved version. They already have Fire Red and Leaf Green, HeartGold and SoulSilver, and yeah, they might become big collectables but it's up to you. It's like collecting the old cards... you don't know.

Sorry about that!

Is the Action Replay only for pokemon games?

is it just for pokemon games or can you use it on different ds games?|||You buy the Action Replay put it into your ds slot and the action replay screen will automatically come up, there will be a list of maybe 100-300 games to choose cheats for, also you can find codes online that you can install into your action replay. SO to answer your question,... no, it works with many more games than just pokemon|||Action Replay can be used for various games. if you own one, it gives you a list of games that the action replay can be used for.|||for your other question about emuparadisego to http://www.emuparadise.org.nyud.net

To get a new game just get the game code and add it onto your Action Replay.|||i think you can use it on other games but not much|||you can use it on all games.|||No there are a lot more|||no

Why do Game Boy Advance Pokemon games get corrupted and get deleted more than DS Pokemon games do?

I'm really confused. I really love Emerald and when I defeat the Elite Four, after the credits, it gets corrupted and deleted. Can someone please explain why. And I heard that the Pokemon Company is making new games. What are these games and if they are remakes of the Hoenn games. Thanks!|||Probably because the DS games are more advanced technology wise than the previous games

Are there other similar games that play like Pokemon for the Nintendo DS?

My niece is waiting anxiously for the new Pokemon games coming out in 2009. Was wanting to know if there are any other similar games to pass the time.|||I like Rune Factory-A fantasy Harvest Moon...

It's more in depth that Pokemon, so she may not be into it depending on her age...

It's basically a cross between Animal Crossing, Pokemon, and Zelda.

You fight and catch monsters, farm, forge weapons, make friends...

My 14 year old sister adores it.

If you want something more straight up pokemon-like... you might have to look for Digimon games, or maybe she'll like the new Spore Creatures coming out now..|||We got to wait and see if the 5th gerenation pokemon will appear in anime to be sure the pokemon games will continue and i think pokemon is a story without an end just like mario games. I think we will see 5th generation pokemon but we can our fingers crossed and hope.|||Why not try looking for Digimon, Harvest Moon, Monster Rancher?|||try pearl and diamond

Do the new pokemon games have the old pokemon?

I mean from the Kanto generation. I recently found my old pokemon blue game and like old times I was getting into it. I was thinking of getting a new Pokemon game but I wasnt sure which to get. Should i get gold and silver? or pokemon crystal? Or pokemon platinum? The most important thing for me when getting any of the new games is if I can use the old Pokemon from the Kanto games...if not, I wont bother getting any of the new games. I hate the 1000 new pokemon they introduced. Its ridiculous to keep up with.|||I recommend you get Pok茅mon Platinum as well as HeartGold or SoulSilver. You'll enjoy these the most as they are the most recent games of Game Freak.|||Yes you can but not all of them will be available from the start. If you get the National Dex you can see every pokemon that was in the old games. If you want them all from the start, get an old game and catch the old ones. If you don't mind little by little you can get the new games.|||Yes, they broke off back-compatibility with Ruby/Sapphire, that's why everyone hated the 3rd generation. However as the others said, HGSS is a great choice to reminisce, and if you have the systems, Crystal is great as well as FireRed and LeafGreen.|||Well you can get Black and White, which is actually supposed to have totally new pokemon at first, but the olders one might be catchable later.|||All new games have the Kanto pokemon but no game beyond Crystal can communicate with Blue.|||Yes, all of the new Pok茅mon games such as Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver and the upcoming games of Black and White have the Kanto Pok茅mon in it however you can't get them in Black and White until after you defeat the Elite 4. You should get whatever game you want to get but to help you decide, here's some info for each game.

Ruby and Sapphire take place in the Hoenn region. This mostly features Pok茅mon from the 3rd Generation so you won't see much Pok茅mon from the previous 2 Generations. Emerald is pretty much the same thing only some 2nd Generation (Johto) Pok茅mon are added into the game.

FireRed and LeafGreen are remakes of the original Pok茅mon Red and Pok茅mon Green (it was Pok茅mon Red and Pok茅mon Blue in all non-Japanese countries though.) Some Johto Pok茅mon have been added into the game due to them being remakes.

Diamond and Pearl take place in the Sinnoh region. This features mostly on the Sinnoh Pok茅mon. There are some Kanto Pok茅mon available but some of them aren't unavailable until after you defeat the Champion. Pok茅mon Platinum is pretty much the same thing as "Diamond" and "Pearl."

"Pok茅mon HeartGold" and "Pok茅mon SoulSilver" are remakes of the original "Pok茅mon Gold," "Pok茅mon Silver" and "Pok茅mon Crystal" however a lot more of the Kanto Pok茅mon have been added into the game compared to the original Gold, Silver and Crystal games.

However keep in mind that Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen and Emerald are Gameboy Advance systems but they can also be played on the orgiinal Nintendo DS system as well as the Nintendo DS Lite. Pok茅mon Diamond, Pok茅mon Pearl, Pok茅mon Platinum, Pok茅mon HeartGold, Pok茅mon SoulSilver and the upcoming games of Pok茅mon Black and Pok茅mon White can only be played on NIntendo DS systems.|||I agree with you, the older ones you grew up with do seem to be better. I know you can trade them over if both games are GBA or GB format. And I know after you get the 8 badges you get access to a facility that lets you plug your other game into your GBA slot and somehow recatch them...not to sure what exactly it does though seeing as how I never did that.

All the games do have pokemon from the first generation in them, but not all of them are catchable.

A easy solution would be to hack the ones you want into the game with a action replay device if you have one. You could just add them into your pcbox, I know I have done that a few times. In Soul silver I didn't like the starters so I started with a charmander instead of any do there choices.

If you do try a new pokemon game, Heart gold and Soul Silver are great options. they have some cool new features and alot of content. There are 8 badges to get, then you revisit the older region and get to recollect the 8 badges from the first game again but against stronger trainers. I thought it was neat refighting misty and some of the others.

Which Pokemon DS Games are compatible with Pokemon Platinum?

Are Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of the Sky Compatible? What about other Pokemon games? Which others can you at least trade or "go underground" together while one is playing platinim?

I mean, can one of my sons play Platinum while the other plays Explorers of the sky and interact with each other? They have DS Lites.

Gameboy Games that can be played on DS in this way would be helpful. My boys are insisting you can do this with Fire Red.|||Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky is NOT compatible with Pokemon Platinum, but it may be compatible with Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness.

GAMES COMPATIBLE WITH POKEMON PLATINUM:

Pokemon Diamond

Pokemon Pearl

With these two games you can:

trade, battle, go to the Underground, and any other standard DS-to-DS wireless gameplay.

~

Pokemon Firered

Pokemon Leafgreen

Pokemon Emerald

Pokemon Ruby

Pokemon Sapphire

With these 5 games you can:

Migrate Pokemon by putting the GBA game into the GBA slot (slot 2) of the DS while playing a Pokemon DS game.

Migration is a special feature unlocked after (in sequential order):

Beating the Elite Four

Obtaining the National Dex

Travelling to Pal Park

Afterwards, migration is unlocked. To use it, choose the option to migrate on the main menu BEFORE choosing "Continue."

You must migrate a total of 6 Pokemon each time. They are selected from the PC of the GBA game. They are PERMANENTLY REMOVED from the GBA game when transferred to a DS game. You cannot migrate any Pokemon that know HM moves. After migrating, you must then play a mini-game in Pal Park to re-obtain the Migrated Pokemon. Afterwards, they are added to the DS game's PC.

Be aware that the new DSi does not have a GBA slot. Thus, migration is not possible using the DSi. Since your children have DS Lites, this is not a problem at the moment.

~

Pokemon Ranger

Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia

In these two games, there are some special quests after beating the main story (watching the credits). By unlocking and completing these quests, you can transfer rare and unique Pokemon to either Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum.

~

I am unsure whether or not Pokemon Platinum is compatible with Pokemon Battle Revolution and Pokemon Ranch for the Nintendo Wii, but I am pretty sure they are not.|||Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon mystery dungeon: Explorers of sky are relatively different games. Pokemon Platinum is the actual RPG. Through platinum you should be able to go underground with another playing Platinum Diamond or Pearl. Pokemon Mystery dungeon is different in that it is played from a Pokemon's perspective. The two games cannot link directly but i believe there are certain aspects which can unlock items in the other game such as special pokemon can be traded from Mystery dungeon to Platinum which are normally unobtainable in platinum. As with the game boy games (fire red and such) you can only migrate Pokemon from the game boy game to the DS game to get Pokemon which are normally unobtainable. once migrated however a Pokemon cannot be returned to the original game boy game.

I hope this helps|||Its compatible with Diamond and Pearl and Platinum, you can also go to GTS and trade online the GTS Is In Jubilife City also you can go underground In all those games too. You can Migrate Pokemon from any GBA Pokemon game. You can go upsairs to the Pokemon Center and Battle also Trade and yes you can go underground on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of the Sky and also you use Wi Fi on It that Is If you've got Wi Fi.|||you can't trade or go underground with mystery dungeon it will not connect to platinum the only games that will are pearl, diamond or another platinum game. also once platium is completed you can migrate pokemon from fire red(or Sapphire, Ruby, Leaf Green and Emerald) to platinum via the pal park (Located at Route 221) this will let u use you fire red pokemon on platinum.

Hpoe I helped. xD|||Pokemon platinum is compatible with:

ds games: pearl and diomond

Gba: firered, leaf green , sapphire, ruby and emerald( these are only compatible if you beat the game platinum or for extra things. You need a nintendo ds or a nintendo ds lie to use it. DSI is not compatible to these games.|||the ony thing you can do with fire red is stick the pokemon you have in there and in the platinum one (only if you seen 210 pokemon and you have fire red in the bottom slot). you can also trade with diamond and pearl.|||Pok茅mon Main Games that are compatible with Pok茅mon Platinum:

Pok茅mon Diamond (NDS)

Pok茅mon Pearl (NDS)

another Pok茅mon Platinum, of course (NDS, of course)

Pok茅mon Ruby (GBA; NDS Dual-slot)

Pok茅mon Sapphire (GBA; NDS Dual-slot)

Pok茅mon Emerald (GBA; NDS Dual-slot)

Pok茅mon Side-Games:

Pok茅mon Mystery Dungeon games (NDS)

Well, I think those are the game compatible with Platinum.

Hope I helped!

^^|||You can go underground with Diamond, Pearl or Platinum. For the Firered thing you have to get the National Dex in Platinum and migrate Pokemon from the Pal Park. You can also trade between D/P/Pt from the GTS if you have WFC in your house.|||Only Pokemon Diamond, Pearl Soul Silver and Heart Gold

They mean migrating pokemon from gba games

you can do this with:

In the pokemon games, what region has the best starters?

I've played all the games (except for the old ones like gold, silver, yellow) and I just wanna know what region do most people think had the best starter pokemon.|||johto region had the best starters, typlosion is my fave from these starters.

the old games are rlly rlly awesome! crystal was my fave, you should play them you wont get bored haha.|||In my opinion, Hoenn. Blaziken with part fighting made it awesome, as did part ground for Swampert. And Sceptile was always a handful because it was so quick!

I have the fondest memories for Ruby and Sapphire, probably why I chose them. Obviously Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard will always be 'the best.'|||Well I really liked the ruby/saphire ones, apart from that hideous Marshstomp... But my favorite would have to be the originals. Love all three, and not to mention Bulbasaur is my favorite pokemon in the game :)|||Heh I have viewed issues like this so many times on the site - maybe people should understand the answers by this time.|||Johto (GSC)

You should play the old games, it's cool to see how much pokemon has improved|||kanto (rby lgfr)

What's your favorite Pokemon games of the main series not the spin off titles?

Tell me why it's your favorite of the series and why you like that Pokemon games than any other Pokemon games of the main series and what's starter Pokemon did you picked in that region or games and what's your favorite memories of the games?|||My favorite game series was Ruby and Sapphire. I am a Water Pokemon fanatic, and in the third gen. games, it's possible to have your entire team a water team by the third gym. So obviously my starter was always Mudkip. Evolving it to Swampert with it's water/ground typing just made him a beast. My favorite memory was catching Kyogre and just destroying the Elite 4 with him and my water types.|||My choice is definitely Pokemon G/S/C and the remakes HG/SS. Well I like it because I really did love both the Johto and Kanto regions, and those versions have them both! So yea another reason is that you get to travel between two regions and challenge 16 different gyms, not to mention its own Elite 4 and a final champion. The starter Pokemon I chose was Todotile. I always choose the water starter no matter what version I play. I have a lot of fun memories from playing Pokemon Silver back when I was a child, I remember accidentally releasing my starter Pokemon and believe it or not, I beat the game with a Lv 100 Togekiss. I got it up so high because I got stuck in the part when you had to find the Machine Part in Cerulean, and since I didn't know what to do I kept battling trainers and wild Pokemon and got to that level.|||my favoirte main series game was ruby, sapphire and emerald becuase it the most fun memory of the game and frist starter was mudkip.

2nd fav was heartgold and soulsliver frist starter pokemon i picked cyndaquill.

3rd fav pokemon diamon, pearl and platinum frist starter i picked was piplup.

4th fav was pokemon firered and leafgreen frist starter i picked was squirtle.

5th fav pokemon game was gold ,sliver and crystal, frist starter pokemon i picked was cyndaquill.

6th fav pokemon game was red, yellow and blue frist pokemon starter i picked was charmander.|||has to be Gold/Silver/Crystal

it changed everything... I used cyndaquil because using totodile would have been too easy

My favorite memories is the endless amount of grinding i did when i found out about pokerus

Which of the GBA pokemon games is best for trading pokemon to Diamond and Pearl?

I have already educated myself on the differences between all the pokemon games and I would like to know which of the GBA games would be best for trading pokemon to Diamond? Which has better pokemon Emerald or Fire Red? I greatly appreciate it :)|||Well the main reason a lot of people trade on pokemon from GBA to DS is for legindary pokemon.

Now in Fire Red the legindaries are:

Zapdos

Moltres

Articoono

Mewtwo

In Emerald they are:

Regirock

Registeel

Regice

Groundon

Kyrouge

Raquaza

So looking at legindaies alone, Emerald is your best bet.

Now if your after general pokemon (as in ones you just find in the wild in the game aka everything apart from starters and legindaries) then it is debatable which is better. However, again I would choose Emerald. And this is why:

Next year pokemon Soul Silver and Heart Gold are comming out (this has been confirmed by nintendo). These games are Remakes of of Gold and Silver. In these games not only can you get Johto Pokemon, you can also get Kanto Pokemon (aka the ones you would normaly get in firered and leafgreen). So If you were to get pokemon from Emerald and buy Soul Silver or Heart Gold you would be able to get any pokemon from any region.

(I should also add that you could just simply transfer pokemon from both games lol)

Hope I helped!|||fire red, and leaf green.

Red

Blue

Yellow

Gold

Silver Crystal

Ruby

Saphire

Emerald

Diamond

Pearl

Black

White

And any I may have missed such as the remakes.|||Imo Black and White were the best. In pokemon games each sequel just rehashes the same themes, adds some new pokemon and features and that's about it. Black and White however have a neat storyline that isn't in the previous ones. Top that off with updated graphics, the pokemon dreamworld a plush online battle system for the wifi and it is pretty nice play indeed. If you don't care much for the online play/story I would go with Heartgold/Soulsilver remakes.|||pokemon black is a worthy successor to the original blue/red games. It has re-inspired my love of the series. Gamefreak and Nintendo in general has a fantastic way of knowing how to follow the same, popular, reliable formula with its games but innovate so that everything old seems new again.

@@@|||If you have a gamecube definetly xd gale of darkness , but otherwise pokemon black or pokemon fire red|||Simple answer: White|||for me it goes heart Gold soul silver white emeraled

Are the older Pokemon games available for download on the 3DS?

I do not care whether or not it is in 3D, I just want to know if any older games (Fire Red and Leaf Green and older) will be available for download on the 3DS. I love the games, but the cartridges are temperamental and are starting to break (just because it's older technology).

If you know whether or not the Pokemon games will be downloadable to 3DS in the near future, please let me know.|||sorry, currently not yet available older pokemon for 3DS

ok|||No. There is a rumour Emerald, Ruby or Sapphire may be with the ambassador program but this is highly unlikely due to constant rumours of a R/S/E remake.

Pokemon games???????????????????

out of the national dex what is the best water pokemon to train|||Hmm...this is an interesting question.

All Pok茅mon can be the best in the way that they are trained and what kind of moves they learn.

For the best Water-type, I believe that there are 3 that really stand out.

Gyarados-

As a physical attacker, Gyarados has a very high Attack as far as water Pok茅mon go. Teaching it Water-type moves that have an attack stat, such as Aqua Tail or Ice Fang, will make Gyarados very powerful.

Milotic-

As a special attacker, Milotic has a high Special Attack as well as a very high Special Defence. Special type moves like Hydro Pump or Surf will take great advantage of its high Special Attack.

Blastoise-

This Pok茅mon happens to be very powerful in both Attack and Special Attack, as well as having a high Defence and Special Defence. Not to mention that Blastoise can learn a wide variety of moves that it can use almost against any foe.|||Depending on which role you want to assign to you're pokemon, there are many great water type pokemons.

As Oak Said :

Milotic, for special defence and a pretty good Special attack he can learn ice beam and defend himself from grass type pokemons and outrun them (since the usually used grass pokes are slow), His weakness to Electric can also be dealed with his high Special Defence. Still, the best thing to do against an electric pokemon is to swap.

My personnal Milotic have :

Ice beam, For Salamences, Birds, Grass, Dragons,

Surf, for Tyranitars, Fire pokes, ground, rocks,

Rest

Sleep Talk, That allows to use one of you're both attack while asleep

But instead of Gyaradoss, you may want to choose a Swampert (WTR/GRND) who has decent defences, great attack and HP. Weak to grass but still can be dealt if you focus on special defences. He is a pretty good Physical attacker and still have decent special attack. Can easily be used as a starter since people almost never put grass pokes at start.

There are too many good strategies to tell with him.

Depending on the role you want to assign there is a water pokemon that is great in it,

If you want a curser, SlowKing is the OverUsed one

If you want a Hazer, Quagsire is a good one

If you want a Special Attacker, Milotic is awesome

If you want a Physical Attacker, Gyaradoss and Swampert are good

Swampert and milotic are both pretty good a tanking

There aren't actually any BEST water pokemon, it depends on what you want, but there is one for every need.

Hope this Helps|||you freakin pokemaniacs!

Pokemon games?

i have pokemon sapphire, ruby, emerald firered leafgreen and the battery has run dry is that bad how can i fix it.|||ok you need to restart the game nothin that bad|||You do not need to restart the game. That won't solve the problem if the battery is dry. If you are seeing this message on Ru/Sa only, you need to patch your game (there was a bug in Ru/Sa). You can send the carts to Nintendo or link them to FR/LG/Em. Any game with the "Berry Patch" will fix Ru/Sa.

Why do I continuously see people who have cheated to get their specific pokemon want to trade with other trainers? I don't get it, why not just play through the game without cheats!|||Thats the exact same way I feel.

Whats even stupider is that they hack their pokemon, then have to trade rather than hack the pokemon they want...

Cheaters never prosper. Theres nothing you can really do about it, but they'll learn they cant cheat at everything|||You are a true hearted gamer. Most people like to be ahead to brag or for the spoils of the post game. And trading is not cheating its a advantage if they get a dumb person to trade with them.|||i have cheated but the only reason is because of the legendary pokemon that you can't get unless you go to an event so that's why some people cheat

Ok. I find this quite aggravating.

My cousin wants to play the pokemon games and wants to know what order to play them in.|||You dont have to play them in order, and if you bought them all it would cost a lot sort of. The ones he wants to get Are Pearl or Diamond because those are the most recent versions. If he wanted to he could buy the fire red, leaf green, saphire, ruby or emerald version to import pokemon from those versions to Pearl or Diamond. The order the pokemon games came out in is blue red and yellow, then silver gold and crystal, then Ruby, saphire and emerald, than pearl and diamond if you wanted to know.|||he should just get the new ones and play but is he wants em all in order...

If you have a Nintendo DS, you want Pearl or Diamond, it doesn't matter which. If you, or your cousin, has a Game Boy Advanced, I would recommend the FireRed or LeafGreen games, as they are simply remakes of the original games. Honestly, all the other hand-held Pokemon games are severely out-dated compared to these. You should only get the others if the series is that enjoyable.

If you wanted to play all the versions, you should skip over the original Red/Blue/Yellow versions and instead play the FireRed/LeafGreen games, although if you just play one you'll get the same experience as both. Then, you could play Silver/Gold/Crystal versions, although you should just get the Crystal version, for it is the most advance in the set. The down-side of these three is they're Game Boy Color games, so they are not compatable with the Nintendo DS. But, wheather you play these or not, next you should play Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, any of them, and then go on to Pearl/Diamond.

Overall, I suggest just playing any of the FireRed/LeafGreen, or the Pearl/Diamond games. But, the order is Red/Blue/Yellow (Or FireRed/LeafGreen), then Silver/Gold/Crystal, then Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, then Pearl/Diamond.|||Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, Leaf Green, Diamond and Pearl

ruby/sapphire:in the hoenn region the battle tower is open, and even more pokemon to catch

So which is it?|||I believe you can only use them in-game offline. I don't know for sure, but I do know that having a hacked item on a legit Pokemon does not allow them to go online (such as any berries right now). Because hacked Pokemon are easier to find, I assume they would not be allowed.|||You can't use them online (only in-game offline), so you're right. Action replay works for Black %26amp; White, but you'll have to either connect it to your computer to update it or search for cheats online and input the game information and cheats manually.

Like can you buy pokemon emerald version or pokemon platinum and play it on your i pod touch. Which Pokemon games can you use to trade onto Black and White?

I know that in Pokemon Black and White you can trade pokemon to your Black and White game when you finish the game. However I don't have any Nintendo DS pokemon games (besides Black/White) , so I was wondering if I could trade pokemon from games such as silver?|||You can't trade to any other pokemon games but you can do a one way permanent transfer with heart gold, soul silver, platinum, diamond and pearl in much the same way as the pal park works, except you need two DS systems|||you can trade pokemon between black and white at any time after a certain point in the story when it lets you access the second floor of the pokemon center.

after you beat the game there is a building that you can enter on route 14 i believe and there is a scientist that that asks you to help him with a project. you can only help him if you have all the badges and beat the game.

Will Pokemon games be rare in the future?

I have 6 Pokemon games and thinking about getting soul silver. Will this game be rare and expensive in the future so i don't open it and be rich later in life? My pokemon games are: Leaf green, Silver gameboy color, diamond, platinum, explorers of darkness and blue rescue team.|||The original Red,blue, yellow and green will be worth a lot in the year 2060.|||I think that each generation of pokemon games makes previous generation games obsolete but interesting to play. If I ended up playing Red Version again, I'll get a taste of Nostalgia. The downside would be, I'd have to deal with the inconveniences that are absent in the 4th generation games.

I still have my Red version game. I would think it could have some collector's value to it. I also still have Gold %26amp; Silver but since the biological clock inside the game is screwed up now, it's not worth playing. The Internal clock runs only while gameplay happens.|||My guess is that the oldest games, like Blue/Red/Yellow, will be rarer then newer games, as will the Gameboy Color be. But on the other hand, there's some PC gameboy, Visual Boy Advance, that is downloaded for free, on which you can play almost every Gameboy game you like. So maybe this answered..

How much will I get for all these Pokemon Games?

I got 4 Pokemon Games I never played, sealed and are in Near-Mint Condition. Just that all of them at the bottom right corner is a little dented.

Pokemon Red, Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Crystal.

How much do you think I might get for them all?|||I think you could get some good money sice they are classic games.|||You can probably look at amazon to see if how much they're selling for. You can also sell them to Amazon (Similar to trading in at a Gamestop). And you can also trade them in at Gamestop. Pokemon games usually do very well for trade-in values but you can call your local Gamestop and they can give you prices on the phone if they're not too busy. The only problem with that is that you can't trade them in if they are sealed. You'll have to open them all before you bring them in.|||well it depends ''where you sell them''

if you sell at a yard sell than about $5 bucks each

at a flea market you could sell them for $10 bucks each

Any guesses on what the new Pokemon games will be named?

A couple weeks ago, the pokemon guys announced that there is a fifth generation being made and it will be out by the end of 2010 hopefully. And i am NOT talking about HeartGold and SoulSilver. A brand new pokemon generation is being made with all new pokemon and everything. But they must be running out of names for the games by now. Me and my friends always like to joke around and guess of the names that they will choose. Any guesses?|||There is no specific name right now, but they are placing the name 'Pokemon RPG' there for now. However, I would really enjoy it if it is named Pokemon Black and Pokemon White, with the Pokemon Black name based on the newly released Zorua and Zoroack. Read about these Pokemon in the sources. In the sources, I also included a link for all the Pokemon games, not including the new game.|||Uhh... Maybe Pokemon purple,Pokemon Black, Pokemon Light version, Pokemon Dark version, Pokemon Orange... there are endless possible names...|||if you guys wanna know about the new pokemon games that are coming out in japan next year visit my website www.darkrey.co.nr there is allot of information|||dont know any names, but check the link to see two of the pokemon|||It would cool to see Pokemon Light Version and Pokemon Dark Version.

Why do people love Pokemon games so much?

Theres a new pokemon game like every year. And it always sells in the millions. Why do people love these games? I am a gamer and love video games, but never played a Pokemon game like Pokemon Black or Pokemon Emerald, but when I se gameplays, i dont find that I am missing much.|||In all fairness they realease a proper game every five years, they make remakes inbetween them and an ultimatum version after that (Just good business sense).

But to answer why there good;

~ They are really long games

~ You personally build up your own team and thus the game becomes personal.

~ The plots aren't all that bad (Black/White had a very good story IMO)

~ Great gameplay mechanics

~ Online is great since it's your personal team battling

It's worth checking out black and white, I think a lot of people get put off either by how childish it looks, the fact they ahve never playe done or the amount of pokemon in the game now (In black and white, there are only 151 for the majority of the game)|||For someone that has never played Pokemon games before, I recommend you try at least one just for the experience. They don't look fun, but when you play them they are actually very fun for a lot of people including me. I grew up playing the Pokemon games when I was little and they were one of the very first pokemon games I've ever played. It really depends on what type of gamer you are though.

Pokemon isn't about violence and guns. It's about having your own unique and powerful team against other trainers, battling, trading, competition, catching, exploring new lands, etc. The games are usually rather long, so it keeps you busy. There's always change to the games too. Every few years or so new Pokemon games come out as well as new generations. There's new adventures, new Pokemon, new plots, and new villains. I can't really tell you everything about it, because you have to experience the game first to know what it's like. I really recommend you try at least one Pokemon game though. It's really worth the experience, whether you'll like it or hate it. =]|||Well Pokemon has been through the entire 21st century so far, and has made a lot of money selling overpriced cardboard with shiny pictures and popular TV shows. The shows have caused a need for people to want their own Pokemon. This is where the video games come in. They are really long and are collectibles on their own (Check out how much a used Emerald Version is worth on Game Stop 0.0). The games are long, the multiplayer is fun and simple enough for anyone to play. The plot is something they make you to want to complete so you can catch the rare one of a kind Pokemon. The game has so many Pokemon and things to do, people to battle. You'll be immersed in it for hours, and since 90% of all Pokemon games are on A Gameboy or Nintendo DS of some sort, you can take it on the go,. That portability allows you to chew away countless hours of boring car and plane rides, thus having addiction set in.

All of this together is a cocktail of success for the companies that profit off these games. And a cocktail of enjoyment for the kids who play this, and the parents who only hear quiet clicking away from a gaming device when they look at their kid.|||Pokemon is iconic. It's timeless. Financially the Pokemon Series has made hundreds of millions without slightly changing anything about it, which is genius. You are missing out on a lot. Its like saying why do people like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. It's not something sane people question. And the ***** who said "my sister;she's so normal" Don't be such a ****. Your sister is special.|||I don't actually know... they're all the same plot:L I've only ever played one and got really bored coz I cba...
